Class M1
Just went to the DMV today to pick up the application and handbook for my Class M1 license. I Can't wait! Hopefully I pass the test first try so I can go to the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) and take the classes to get my license. I plan to get this baby in a few months:
That's the 2008 model, I'm going to get the 09 which hasn't released yet since 08 production has stopped. Only a 250cc but a great bike nonetheless after being completely remodeled from the past versions. A beginner bike, but that baby still tops out at 110 mph. It's a steal for $3,499(msrp). Finance that thing for about $50 a month and it gets 61 mpg. I won't be getting that mad when hitting the pumps anymore. =)
The "Human" Race
All I ever see nowadays on the damn T.V. and hear on the radio are damn killings, shootings, snipers, fires, explosions and shit. Is it me or is the world imploding upon itself with ignorant and stupid people?
Not that I hate any one of you personally, but I ran across an article today that has startled me to the point where it would feel wonderful to get some understanding on how humans think. A man shot both of his parents, cold blooded, with a shotgun, and then bought an original Xbox three days after.
There he is, Russell Bramlage, a man with insane intentions and a wildly old taste for games. Now, as I see it, shit like this happens every day in this world, specifically America. It seems like we're so bored with how things are so mundane and routine that we have to mix it up with a few shootings and mudslinging events. More on the story, Mr. Bramlage had actually just been getting annoyed that his mother was bugging him to get a job.
In America, it seems inevitable for even a 17 year old to get a job to at least help out with the family. I obviously do not speak for every household, but I can say a good majority of homes wouldn't disagree with me. Anyways, Russell got annoyed and decided to shoot them! God have mercy on the parents for having the proper discipline only to be shot at.
I'll end my rant on the insanity on these people here and would like to mention what an exciting show I attended today. Homeboy Raymond and his crew were in it, fantastic job guys.

Scientific break-through or the end?
On September 10th, 2008 The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will officially start up. This 11 Billion dollar project is the largest science machine ever created in the world. It may allow us to detect signals from the 11th dimension. Though the real objective of this machine will be to simulate what happened at the Big Bang by colliding two protons together. Now it has been acknowledged that this machine can possibly create miniature black holes. Should this be a concern? Scientist working on the project say it shouldn't as the black holes would decay almost instantly.
Now with all this reassurance it may make one feel much better. Although most of the knowledge is all theory. There is still some concern as there is always room for error . The question is do we really have enough knowledge to run these type of experiments? Lets hope so, there are many scientist from around the world working on this and billions of dollars of funding put into the project.
Well, we will find out soon enough. If everything does go successful and as planned this machine can be one of the greatest scientific achievements to date. If not it could be the most expensive scientific failures in history. The chances of catastrophic events occurring are low but nonetheless they are there. Hopefully it will provide us with knowledge to greatly increase our technology by controlling anti-matter and all that other stuff like in Star Trek. Not likely but a person can only dream.
