(This post is most likely going to carry over to the next morning because the video upload speed is horrendous and I think youtube is failing me.)

Officially, it's the day before the Super Bowl.

Unofficially, it's two days before the Super Bowl.

I'm still awake in January 30th mode. Anyways, today was decent. I saw Jennifer for the first half of the day then chilled with my dad and Raymond came over.

Yesterday, we managed to head downtown to drop Jennifer and Jessica off at some kind of fraternity meeting. I'm not a big fan of fraternities, no offense to any Greeks out there, I just don't understand the motive. Anyways, so we drop them off near the Bocardo Business Center and I park on the 10th St. garage. Unfortunately we had no idea what to do in downtown being that none of us were over 21. We figured that playing ping pong and/or bowling at the SJSU student center would be cool so we decide to head over there, next thing you know we're stuck playing one game, House of the MOTHERFUCKIN Dead. (Not as exciting as I capslocked it.)

Ate and drank at Tapioca Express afterwards. Wingstop. Then Iguana's.

Iguana's was cool but I completely forgot to bring the camera as there was some good performances. First time there, and I thoroughly enjoyed the open mic session, not to mention the funny MC. Reminds me of myself.. jk.

So.. tonight, Raymond comes over to go eat some Cajun food. With nothing to do, we decide to record ourselves playing games.. again.

You can now see what we do on our free time.. but we are not super nerds, but cool nerds. That's right, there's such thing. Anyways, here's a couple videos before we left to go to play at Golfland.. to play yet more games. Friday nights seem dead to me now, or am I just excluded from society? No one calls me anymore? :\ It's cool. Fuckers heaheha.

Initial D is my game, don't phase me.

So Golfland has these random buttons on their machines that for some reason deposits free money into some games that you play. Kind of cool, but made me feel like shit realizing after I spent my damn money. Anyways, it might be night thing but next time, try it out.

5-7. Air hockey sucks anyways.

7-11 is the one stop shop for late night get togethers. I swear, if there were no such things as 7-11's, I'd be a more wealthy man. But there is, and luckily fulfills my midnight cravings. Here's an in-depth review of a few of what we digested this evening..

And to finish off..

Good night niggas. I'm tired. Work tomorrow. Another day.

Daily.

I havent posted in a while, so I figured...hey..why not just post a blog about some random bullshit (which is pretty much all my posts are about anyways). haha. Anywho...let's see. Lately, for the past few weeks or so, i've been working, school, and dance. Battlefest 360 is coming up soon and Wrawsome will be there to represent San Jose woot woot. But the big news is I finally got a job. If some of you have talked to me in the past 2 months or so...I was desperately looking for a job for almost a year. I've been searching for one on craigslist, friends, monster, careerbuilder, etc...holy crap I was dying. Finally, i found this post on craigslist about a place called After School All Stars. Its an afterschool program primarily for elementary and middle school students. A whole bunch of schools usually have programs as such, but ASAS is just another organization. Long story short, I got the job and I've been working for about 4 weeks now? I'm not quite sure. I've been so busy, I've lost track of days.
The job is real chill, in fact it doesn't even really feel like a job. I basically just play with middle schoolers for about 4 hours. I mean, there is more to it, but thats pretty much the idea. The point is to keep the kids out of trouble. The school that I work at is Fischer Middle School, which is in Eastside San Jose and most of the kids in the program are Mexican. They do act up sometimes, but most of the time they are good kids. They refer me as "Mr. Luu," because its supposed to be as if I'm their teacher.
Other then the job, it's been going good. I wanna say that my life is going really good right now, but there are some things that are still burdensome. Then again, when are we really at peace, especially at this age.
I just wanna say that I've been acting somewhat different towards a certain someone. I've done and said somethings that are unlikely of me and I just wanted to apologize. We all go through times where we lose ourselves in the midst of situations. I understand because I'm guilty of it. It's harder for me especially because I always pride myself as being self-reflective and aware. It's been crazy times for me, but I feel I'll make it through...besides...better busy than bored. haha.

$140

It's 5:30 and it's been somewhat of an adventure today. Addy wanted to buy some new Onitsuka Tigers which in turn made me want to drop some money for a pair also. But before I dive into that, I just want to say that I bought myself a new toy, though cheap, I bought the Insignia 5.0 megapixel camera that surprisingly is doing better then I hoped it would.

Though I do intend to purchase a much higher quality HD camera, this will do for the time being and money being. My main focus with the camera anyway is to catch any moments quickly without lugging around a huge machine. Anyways, I did a fair bidding of use with it today and I must say I enjoy it. So, with my new handy camera, I decided to bring it along the trip that Addy and I ventured on today..

So we walked around for a while, checked out Journey's and Nordstrom, only to be disappointed by a) the selection and b) their limited quantities and sizes. We both already had talked about getting a new pair for ourselves and we were ready to stick to that proposition. So, we thought of places to go and ended up thinking of the Nordstrom close to Stanford.

For those who aren't fully aware as to what the Onitsuka Tigers are, they are simply a shoe. But a very good shoe at that. They are light weight and feel almost like those Nike Frees back in the day, but with a little more padding. ASICS owns rights over the Onitsuka Tiger section because they actually originate from what Mr. Onitsuka created back in the day. The early 90's presented challenges for sports and athlete's feet but starting with the straw sandals that Onitsuka designed, he begun to create a shoe that seriously kicks ass now. Check some of them out.

Moving on.. before we headed over to the Stanford Nordstrom, Addy wanted to stop by the super expensive Urban Outfitters. So we're stopped at the light before you make a left into Santana Row and I find an interesting license plate border..

Anyways, we finally make it to Stanford Nordstrom. I gotta say that white people who are rich know exactly how to flaunt it. Or for some reason, even if they don't, we regular folk know. We walked into Nordstrom feeling like we were getting charged for every step we took but finally saw the men's shoes.

We fork over our 140 and some odd dollars for the shoes we bought. Addy and I had bought two pairs each, and man, we feel broke. But I feel it was worth it, comfort and design all in one.

Such a lengthy post for me.. now it's time to rest. Maybe later on I'll post the videos of us actually buying our wonderful shoes.

This is the feeling I want to have.

Nothing feels the same anymore. I miss being carefree. Whats missing in my life? Whatever it is I want to fill that void.

Cheese.

"Sometimes the best things in life happen when you're not ready for them."

I don't know who said that quote, but I heard it from somewhere. I post this because it just seems an appropriate time.

Many times I've heard men and women say that they aren't ready for relationships, love, etc. I agree with them...to a certain point. I ask them So when will you be ready? When it is too late? Or is it another way of saying "Sorry I'm not interested." There are many meanings to the phrase "I'm just not ready." I agree to a certain point because it is true...sometimes we aren't ready. Sometimes people rush into things not thinking about what they are getting themselves into. So often it just ends in break-ups, or even not starting a relationship at all.

I guess you can say that it's really hard to put a fixed guideline to deal with "Ready or not." But I can say that it's important to read into the situation. Sometimes when two people are going at it too fast, it can result in the "not ready" realization. However, there are always exceptions. Sometimes if there is something good in front of you, you take that chance, whether you're ready or not. Because you never know that when you're "ready," the opportunity has passed and the only thing you weren't really ready for was losing the person.

This is just an interesting concept that I've been thinking about lately. This is just my opinion, so I could be wrong. Like I said, there are always exceptions. My advice: Give them space. Listen to what they say. If you're truly there for that person, you won't suffocate her with questions such as "WHY WHY WHY WHY?!?!?!" Even though most initial reactions to the whole ready idea is "bullshit!" But that's not the way to go. If feelings fade, so be it. You and your partner shouldn't fake feelings, make sure you're sure about things otherwise it starts getting rocky. The only thing you got is time, time to let he or she figure things out. If it works out, then it works out. Don't force anything. Penis.

STUCK

These are implanted in my head for the time being. I haven't been keeping up with my music and all I can hear now is the radioooooooooooooo.

It's been a lousy morning, I got up all pissed off. It just happens when I never get enough sleep. Anyways, work today, another tedious day.

Kill You

Let's Play. I win.

New Baby

Here she is.

Be envious, Be jealous.. or hit us up.

3:34AM

I think I realize where I live now.

yeah.. in my job. I work so hard, so much that I feel like I'm in there more than I am with anything else besides school. Work is life I guess.

One Of Those Nights

So after months and months of going to a stupid hookah lounge, me and the boys finally coughed up the money to buy our own.

And to be completely honest, I am excited for it. Pictures later.

Prelude 08

I know it's kinda late, but I meant to post this up when it happened....just kinda forgot. oops. lol. Anyways, this is Wrawsome at Prelude Norcal '08. If you don't know what Prelude is, it's a huge competition for dance crews. Crews such as DS Players, Haluan, Prophecy, Main Stacks, etc. were all there. Basically Norcal teams. haha. This is our first competition..so it was nerve racking, but it was a fun experience. We gave it all we had...even though we knew we could have done better, but hey..it's all part of learning. Btw, we didn't place.

The new yuuurrrr.

Wow, can't believe it is two thousand and nine. It seemed like O Eight was just yesterday...oh wait, it was. haha. Bad joke. Anyway, I could sit here...and reflect on every month the year, but I feel like so much has happened, i can't help but feel i'd be missing a detail. I will just give a brief summary...sorta like a synopsis of my 2000+8. There is no doubt that I met so many new faces. The first half of the year was my first year of college at UC De Anza. At this point, I had familiarize myself with meeting new people. I'm sure many of you, coming out of high school, like to keep in touch with your high school friends. I was one of those people...having a solid group of friends,
it was a little difficult trying to make new friends. Mainly because I was comfortable with where I was and who I knew, I kinda forgot how to socialize. Eventually, I got used to it and now I know a whole mess of people. I also learned that in college, you don't have time to have a little "group" of friends that you always hang out with. It might not be true for some, but for me...I realized that everyone has their own thing going on, so you don't have time for that "omg, like, you're not hanging out with me anymore...wtf!?!???!?!" Don't get me wrong though, I miss my high school friends. Every now and then I'd like to reminisce about the old days, but living in the past isn't living in the present (duh). Also, I'm not saying that college equals separation from high school friends, but I am saying that everything changes. Even if you still hang out with "the gang," what are the chances that all of you go to the same school? Your world changes.
Then, around the middle of the year, I joined a competitive dance team called Wrawsome. Never in my life would I find myself dancing. I'm not hella good or anything, but to be on a competitive team? Wow, I have no idea how it happened. No doubt that it has become a large part of my life.
The latter half of my year was definitely quite an experience, as mentioned on our podcast. I'm sure some of you might know ;). Who knew one person could throw me in a crazy roller coaster of emotions lol. I could go in to it but....it might get a little personal...plus I'd have to explain the details to fully understand the story...and no one has time for that. haha. I just wanna say that it's been a decent '08. If I had to sum in it up in one short sentence..I'd have to say that the first half was about making it on my own and growing up; the second half was about living life for what it's worth for you and not how others see it. Feel me? As for my resolution for O's nine? Not quite sure yet...probably something I wouldn't expect from myself. All I can do is remember the past years and how I've gotten to this point and be grateful for the person that I am and the friends I have made. I hope you guys had a good new year's day, lord knows I did....haha.
Cheers to the new yuuurrrr.
